It has been quite a couple of months.
Spent December locked in a SpacePort on a drizzly, cold planet.
Escaped in January to warm and thaw, and started getting some rides in.
on Jan 7- rode 41 mi w/B we went from Claremont out and around Santa Fe dam and back.
on Jan 9 - I rode Beach bikes w/Sarah (my daughter)
we went north from Huntington Beach an back.
on Jan 15 - I rode 39 mi from MB village out to Camp Williams and back.
on Jan 16 - went for another Beach bike ride from HB to Newport and back.
on Jan 23 - rode a 60 mi loop w/B
We rode out GRR, GMR to Camp Williams, EastFork, to SR39 down Azusa Cyn and back Sierra Madre to GMR, to GRR and home.
on Jan 26 I rode 87 mi to Simi Valley. I had left after noon and climbed Santa Susana pass in the dark. YaHoo...
on Jan 27 I rode 80 mi back from Simi. In Glendora, on Sierra Madre, I hit a curb, leapt off the bike and fractured my right clavicle.
It was a very minor fracture, I met up w/B at the mouth of GMR and rode home.
It's been 3 days of R and R, the pain has subsided and I'm ready again, to ride.
