Left on Mills to Padua
Right at Padua Back down to Foothill
Right on Foothill to College Ave.
South or left on College,
Right at Bonita,
Bonita to Fairplex and back to start

Part 2: ARGHHHH!!!
On my way back to my car, about a quarter mi from the end of my ride,
I had a minor crash involving the edge of a sidewalk
It resulted in several fractures to the right side of my pelvis
Luckily not serious enough for surgery.
Recovery and healing will put me out of commission for 6 weeks.
All in all.....  Back soon

Approx 5 or more riders went down in the group.
After all emergencies were taken care of, the group split into several.
Myself, John and 6 others did a ride around Bonelli and back to the start.
Around half of the group met at Claremont Craft Ales after the ride.
An interesting evening.

La Verne where my deraillur hanger broke 15 miles into the ride.
Called a friend who picked me up and took me back home where I exchanged bikes
and got back on my retired Bianchi to complete my ride.
Started my ride again from Claremont, and
rode to The Burbank Amtrak station (47) miles
caught the train from Burbank to Carpenteria.
Rode the remaining 13 mi to Santa Barbara
Visited and spent the nite in SB
Wednesday - Rode from Santa Barbara to Ventura. 30 mi
Took the train to Glendale and then rode the remaining 38 miles home
An Adventure - 2 days, 143 miles

Garry drove us to Newhall and parked near the TOC finish.
We rode from downtown Newhall out Placerita Cyn then to Sand Cyn and up
to Bear Divide in Little Tujunga cyn, the last KOM before the finish.
Hung there and watched the race.
The KOM was won by 1-Evan Huffman 2-Ben King
We then rode back to the finish line in Newhall where the stage2 was won by Ben King.
Enjoyed the festivities and seeing many Newhall bike friends.
